that's the thing, vaccinated or not they can still get any disease. so many think just because they get vaccinated they are immune. natural immunity is much different then vaccine immunity. polio is pretty much non existent, ever since better hygine and nutrition alot diseases are hard to get but easily treated especially when you know the symptoms.

No to Polio because there hasnt been a case of actual Polio since the 80's and only about 1% if people that catch Polio experience severe complications.

Meningitis has over 100 strands if I'm not mistaken and the Pc vaccine only offers coverage for 17 of them...and these are the more common ones....Also with these strands it is unlikely to have severe complications for a healthy intact immune system. I chose not to get this vaccine because it had so many alarming reports of side affects and possibly causing the production of super bugs ( theory). My Mom knows a little boy who went deaf permanently as a side affect of that vaccine. The Hib vaccine I see as unecessary if you EBF your baby since breastmilk can provide lasting protection for something like ten years....The strands I'm more worried about are the rare bacterial meningitis stran

strands * that the vaccines dont even cover...I remember reading an article about a fully vaccinated 2 year old who got a rare strand and died two days later suddenly.

The meningitis vaccines that will be offered RIGHT NOW in infancy is HiB and Pc....read about the vaccines and diseases on NVIC.org.

I also chose not to get those vaccines because I never had them either and dont see it necessary

I read directly from the center of disease control website for INGREDIENTS only....all reasoning information is heavily biased of course...I think you can get numbers of cases in yoyr area too.

Key to a good immune system is fresh air, everyday sun, exercise and most important good nutrition.....mainly unprocessed foods...as much vegetables and lean meats as they will eat.Coconut oil for Mom since it boosts the immunity powers in your breastmilk. I believe the majority of our illnesses overcome our bodies because of a poor diet..the american diet is no where near how we were meant to eat..everything is processed and full of genetically modified ingredients now a days...I have resorted to making most things from scratch! Lots and lots of breastmilk if you are BFing...home made formula oe goats milk if you arent..

I believe that 93 case was actually from vaccine shedding...not even a wild strand!

There is an fb group called great mothers questioning vaccines that I like....My son was actually exposed to whooping cough when he was 7 months and I treated him at home with vitamin C....This is a great article about it

I calculated his starting dose according to his weight ...then divided that dose into fourths and gave it throughout the day in expressed milk ( or water) with a syringe...orally of course.

The site has the dosing info I think its 375 mg per kg per 24 hours...I also took 15 grams a day myself...

Slowly up the amount until they start having more frequent poop an then back off a little until its returns to normal...then you have the perfect dose they need.....You can do this for alot of illnesses...its been proven to treat asthma too. If your baby isnt whooping tho then there isnt a need to increase until bowel intolerance
