My diet hasn't been the greatest past two days. Starting fresh tomorrow.

I made pumpkin bars for dessert last night and made sure I left enough calories in my daily allowance for 1/2 of a piece. But the leftovers are calling my name. :/

I went and bought those Ghiradelli squares you talked about so that I could end my day with something sweet but not go crazy overboard. I also found some sugar free chocolate covered coconut candy by Russell Stover that's like 50-55 calories a piece. The Ghiradelli squares are 70.

The plain dark chocolate ones are lower in calories, but I have 5 different kinds so I can switch it up.

I looked and it appeared that the plain dark chocolate ones were 210 for 3 pieces and so were the dark chocolate with caramel inside. So I went for a bit more flavor for the same amount of calories. The milk chocolate ones were like 220-230 for 3 pieces.

I save 80 calories for my dessert.   I have also found yogurt and fruit popsicles that fit my calorie budget.

ETA: Without a small dessert allowed I have found that I am likely to cheat a lot and blow my diet.

Yeah that's why I bought the small dessert stuff. Because I don't want to blow my calories out of the water on a bunch of crap.

Muscle build possibly? Muscle weighs more than fat so what might be happening is as you're losing fat you're gaining muscle. If you're feeling healthier and are exercising regularly and keeping a good diet then that's all that matters.

Uh-oh...I have a true test of self control today. Not 1 but 2 birthday parties. :/ Ahhhhh wish me luck on restraining from the candy table at both. LOL
