That is questionable wether or not they relate, we all have different ways of seeing things but I would be more than willing to read any articles you could present me with to further my knowledge and round out my decision. thanks

It was intended as more of a "please show me information and your experiance so I can come to a good conclusion" but lol things happen when you get everyones momma together and all mothers have their opinions and are very fond of doing the right thing. Also agreed I am looking more into the breathable materials as we speak and they seem to do the trick.

How can it possibly be questionable if the cause if death relates to precautions?

That makes zero sense and I am done wasting time here.

The fact that they lump statistics together doesn't make me trust everything they say right away so adding up to a previous comment this is why I am looking for a wider base of answers. Some deaths they also chalk up to one thing or another because its the most probable cause, I mean goodness people still think cats suck out babies breath lol My cat loves babies

I actually have a good family friend who's cousin has that same issue, it has always fascinated me that like you said we are made up of water but yet we can carry the strangest allergy and reactions to it.

My cat is seriously pissing off my baby, I woke up the other day to my baby crying and laying on top of my cat. My cat thought she was playing so was nibbling on her.. The baby was very angry. LOL Norman always jumps in her crib, I even was woken up one night by the baby cryiing because Norman was kneading her back LOL poor kid, the cat just loves her...she just wants to sleep. I actually am using one of those crib tents now because of it but its not because I thnk he will hurt or her smother...just because he interupts her sleep!

but I agree ultimately every mother is going to go by what she feels she is comfortable with, And what education we get about certain things helps us in those decisions. the world and country is the way it is because we have a difference of opinion...a thing to be appreciated but taken with a grain of salt lol

This too, I don't necessarily think theyre unsafe but I do co-sleep more than I use a crib, my baby is only in her crib if I am not napping with her or if the husband and I want some one on one time to ourselves.

I myself have always loved swimming and water in general, I would be extremely sad if I couldn't do that for risk of harming myself, makes me wonder if they are also their own worst enemy due too themselves being made up of water...

As a 50/50 co-sleeper with DD I plan to do the same with this baby, we had the moses basket right next to the bed and she started out in there but then stayed in with us from about 1-2am each night until I was brave enough to just go for it and fully co-sleep.
I wont be quite so scared this time around i dont think but will probably follow the same way, DD slept in her big cot from around one year but mainly in with us I also this had and has alot to do with my stance on cot bumpers too. My DD is mainly in her own bed now but still has the sensor pad in her bed and if she is remotely ill I know she is safest in with me.

Lol I never said I was well informed dear,
I am actually looking at the links others on this forum have sent me for perusal.
as I was not able to find many before, I love reading books but alas they have not written one yet on this subject that I can find lol but thank you for the advice I shall and am looking into it.

Lol a very interesting read I am glad you can come to the conclusion of who I am and tell me I am missing the point when all I have asked for is information. If you have it and believe I am not well informed...well educate me. I am not telling you that everything I say is in a book or spoken by some statistician I am bringing in my viewpoint I dont know everything, I know things from general ares I have learned from. But your mocking comments has not made much of an indent into this learning process, however I appreciate the time you take in responding.

It is questionable since not every person who uses bumpers has had their infant pass away. And if you feel you are wasting your time then that is your conclusion to which I agree our conversation has not gotten farther than us questioning each others way of thinking rather than the point.
