Same with my newborn (which is obviously to be expected) but it is still hard work!
At 5/6 in the morning she won't go back down to sleep so I have to bring her to my bed and the only way she will stay quiet is to comfort nurse for 2 hours!
I hope you get some sleep soon mamma!

When DS was a newborn he actually slept! Now he wants up to play, haha.

Lucky!
DD was good at first, going 4-5 hours between feeds and sleeping all the time between them, but now she is going 2-3 hours and it's so tiring!
I guess it's your turn to get no sleep seeing as he was a good newborn ;)

I see from your profile that your DS is about 13 months now.
Try doing a bedtime schedule every single night. If he wakes up and you know it's just not time to wake up, go in, tuck him in and say "Night Night" and leave the room. I had to do this with my DS and after awhile it worked.
Both my kids sleep from 7pm until 6am everyday. Sometimes if DS is in an especially good mood I let him stay up with me, but DD is nearly passed out on the floor at like 6:30 every night haha.

If I did that he would SCREAM. Last night he was half asleep and screamed for 30 minutes. It was awful. Usually when he wakes up he is energized.

I just posted about this last night, lol.
I think your DS and My DD are about the same age (13 months)
And My DD has been sleeping like smurf for about a week.
I've had about 5 hours of sleep in the past 2 days, sucks balls

It could always be a growth spurt or that their brain is trying to learn and understand something new.
When DD was learning to crawl she didn't sleep for smurf. When DS was learning to walk he didn't sleep well either.
