Belly button stretching?
posted 17th Jan
Okay, I'm only 12 weeks, but my belly button feels like it's stretching already. I'm barely showing, but it hurts! Did anyone else's belly button start stretching this early, or am I nuts?!

i have this (i'm 19 weeks). at around 27+ weeks in my last pregnancy i developed a umbilical cord hernia and with this pregnancy it started hurting in the very early weeks. doctor says as long as its still tender and doesn't turn purplish it should be ok. it just makes my belly button pop out and feels sore.

Ugh, I hope I don't have a hernia, but it wouldn't surprise me. I have to do a lot of heavy lifting at my job

That's usually when mine starts to bother me.. while I'm at work or cleaning. just be careful not to strain yourself. ask your doctor at your next appointment. from your picture you look really thin so that can be what causes a hernia .. with my 1st pregnancy my pre pregnancy weight was 85 pounds, so as i got bigger my stomach muscles just ripped and that's when the hernia came through.
