Gassy

Good lord, my son is not having it tonight. He is 4 days old and he is acting like he is constipated, the grunting, face turning red, body tensing up.. Im still in the hospital and the nurse said he probably isnt constipated? She just came in and took him to the nursery, shes bringing him back but now im sad. I hate being away from him. Bleeeh,  

Maybe it's because I'm tired but you posted three days ago you were still pregnant, two days ago you had him, but he's 4 days old? Unless you meant he's 2 days old. I'm confused. I just need some clarification. I'm not saying or implying anything.

And congratulations on his birth!!

Babies grunt and turn red even when they're not constipated. How often has he been pooping? When it comes to constipation in babies, you have to watch the product, not the effort.

I had him the 14th. I was trying to post while i was really out of it because of the c-section so i could have possibly typed slmething wrong but he was born monday. Lol

babies are just fussy and turn red sometimes! I can guarantee that they took him to the nursery and he stopped his shenasmurfns and went to sleep....it happens all the time when we take babes to the nursery. They settle down and sleep. Congrats on his birth.....SLEEP!

He hasnt been pooping much. Maybe twice aday. He started doing that two days ago. There is iron on this formula though .
