Smurf! Did I test to early?

I didn't know where to put this but this seemed like the the best place.
I am not TTC by any means but I'm not on hormonal birth control either. Dh and I have just been using the pull out method. Plus I have a 2 month old and am EBF. I had some slight blood in my vaginal discharge for a few days (Im not getting a period because of the EBF) and tested just to be safe while I was because the only time that has ever happened to me before is while I was pregnant. But I have been feeling sick randomly and went to check up on implantation bleeding. Every thing I found says that testing while you are having implantation bleeding will give you a false negative. Is that true? did I test to early?

Possibly. I had bloody discharge at 4 weeks pp but then my period started. DS is also EBF. I'd retest in a week to make sure

this was just a few weeks ago and it took me 5 months last time I EFB to get a period.

Lucky! I hope I don't have another period for awhile lol wishful thinking on my part I know. If you tested a few weeks ago then you should be safe to test again.
