Honestly, if I had a hose and/or a gun I'd just try take care of it. I would only hope that I had to resort to a hose and not a gun but if I felt my family was at risk I'd go get the handgun to scare or shoot the dog attacking mine. That or if it was a smaller dog as I had to break up a fight with 2 neighbor's dogs a while back with nothing other than some yelling and alerting my neighbors. They're both smaller than my dog even (Chihuahuas) . I feel like that'd only be the case though if I felt everyone else was in danger , if it was just my dog I'd only intervene if I knew the dog would survive like if I caught it before severe injuries started. It'd hurt a lot, but what can you do?  

im sorry but its her fault for not having her dog on a leash and its the owner of the huskys fault for not having a muzzle on that dog

and huskys have a high prey drive..

I love my fur babies. All of mine except my cat Lucy has passed away. I doubt I will ever get another animal. Too much heartache when they pass.

Judah keeps asking where Siaya and Chase (our Chihuahuas that passed within months of each other) are. He wanted to help his dad bury them but he's too young to understand death.

I lied to Ev when our cat died   I said he got married and had kittens and went to live with them  

He was her BEST friend and died just after she turned 4... I just couldn't do it.

Oh no   that's a funny story though. Lylian alwys says "I don't want dexter to ever die". This poor girl has seen too much death for a 5 yr old. My family dog growing up that she knew as well since we lived with my parents died when she was 3, then my cousin does when she was 4, now our close friend just died when she was 5. She gets it more and more each time, but poor baby   some people go their whole childhood never having been to a funeral or lose a pet.

I probably would try to do something to stop it...hit it with a baseball bat or something to where I can hit it from a safe distance. My animals are family and I wouldn't just let them die.

That being said it's incredibly irresponsible to not have your dogs on a leash when they are outside not in a fenced-in area. That's extremely stupid and I hope she learned her lesson.
