Want to work from home?

posted 16th Jan
I work for a virtual call center, and the company is hiring in certain states. If you would like the link, just PM me. Your PC must be hard wired to the internet, and you must have a landline

I wish I could but they all want you to have quiet and that is impossible in my house.

My roommate and I are the only ones home during the day, and we both work from home. So it's extremely quiet

A few questions:
Hardwired means no wifi?

Two kids a dog and the damn bombing range within distance so planes are almost always flying around..way too much noise lol. Plus I worked for a call center before some company called West Corporation and they cheated me out of some time so I dont mess with them anymore. $0.15 a minute and you get docked if the calls go over three minutes no thank you...

They need to. You cannot complete a call with their prompts in less than three minutes... I skipped all the optional offers and still couldnt get it done so I lost money every call. My only paycheck from them was $4 and that was supposed to include training time.

Were supposed to complete all calls in less than 6 minutes, but nobody ever does because customers take forever to place there orders!

I take it I couldn't have DS running around making all kinds of noise, huh... ? I could REALLY use a second job right now but DH and I work opposite shifts and have no one to watch DS while the other one is at work, so I couldn't work a second job unless it was from home.

Six minutes is a lot more reasonable than three...
