A couple years ago I worked for Verizon Wireless through an outsourced company helping customers via chat place online orders. That was the best damn job ever. We got commission too. I wish I could find something like that from home. Noise never mattered because it was IM.

I wish I could find something like that to do. I hate not contributing financially to the house but two kids in daycare would put us in the hole so I am a SAHM.

They shut down, that's why I left. It wasn't from home anyway and I make more now, I just need something on the side that doesn't requiring leaving the house.

DH wants atleast one of us to be at home with the kids and if I could do paid emails or some sort of customer service through chat I would be able to work and stay home. I cant find anything that isnt scams though it seems. I thought I had one once but I only got emails that required I buy smurf and I am not going to spend $20 buying smurf online to get paid $2 for reading the damn email. I tried Avon but they are crooks. They tell you if you can sell atleast $200 in products you will make 20% profit but I wasnt making anything at all, I owed them money. I got someone trying to talk me into Premier Jewelry but I am not paying $800 to start then $400 a year plus I dont know enough people and there are already 20 jewelry ladies in my area. I was thinking about Scentsy but after Avon I am scared to try anything like that.

Yeah if they charge an upfront cost that is alot, don't go for it

She makes money and damn good money but I dont have $800 to sink into something that is not guaranteed. Stuff like that is mostly about who you know and I dont know too many people that like DH's family so they hear the last name and automatically hate me....

Exactly! My mom used to sell Avon, and she ROCKED it!!!! I mean she had MADDD CASH FLOW!!! But she knew alot of people, so she made money!! I on the other hand sucked at it.
