Yeah of u want cheap alvas are the way to go. Just nb size or OS as well?

I would say they are a good buy. The only thing, and it's something I have found with other newborn pockets, is the crotch is super narrow so it's hard to stuff. You can always use bamboo inserts to just lay in though.

Just newborn... I have grovia for one size

They are cute and easy. We used ours in the hospital. Audrina pees a lot and started leaking through hers though. Do you have the Grovia hook&loops? I only have one, and I preferred it over my newborns. I used mostly prefolds/covers and bumGenius.

Yes I have 3 hook and loop shells, grovia is doing an inventory closeout and has an awesome deal on them. I'm also starting out with 4 of their soaker pads but I've read the soaker pads are pretty bulky for newborn stage. So I was thinking about ordering a few nb Alva's for hubby, just incase the whole prefold thing doesn't work for him. Do alva's fit well?

I used my Grovia on Audrina. I wasn't as bulky as my OS bumGenius diapers.
