What would you recommend?

What would lotion would you recommend for a really dry skin? My one elbow is SUPER dry for some reason, like it hurts & snags on stuff (eww).

Coconut oil.

Eucerin (sp?)

We get it in the tub (it's thicker) and it works miracles.

Your skin can't fully absorb petroleum based products like commercial lotions. Plus it can contaminate the blood stream. I use coconut oil on my whole body.

I use baby oil gel.

this. i use it on my elbows haha but got it for clara since she's allergic to everything else.

I use Malibu Hemp moisturizer, I get it at walmart (usually on the bottom shelf where the lotion is) . Its the same stuff you pay triple for at beauty salons. The base is coconut oil instead of petroleum, and it has a ton of other great oils for skin (Jojoba, hemp seed, sesame, sunflower, olive, tea tree and green tea extract. It also smells reallly yummy   I am a lotion addict and I only have to put this on once or twice a day as opposed to 10+ times a day like the other stuff I was using

I heard that stuff was good but I have never used it before.

This sounds good too, I will check it out. I wish there was a wal-mart closer. I LOVE wal-mart.

Oh I also use body scrub or face scrub on the rough spots like elbows and knees while in the shower before I lotion up afterwards
