re: How would you spell this

Whenever I hear the name, I never think to spell it any way except for Claire. I actually love the name and it is on my list if we ever have another baby.

Claire. It looks funny to me spelled the other ways. haha

It was the only name my SO would consider. He came up with it, that's what he liked and he refused to budge lol. I'm glad we picked it, I've gotten lots of compliments on it and I take all the credit

Claire and Clare are both legitimate.

Clair is the masculine form.

I always thought it was spelt Claire, the other two just look wrong when I read them.

I know a German lady named Clair. But I've also seen Clare and Claire.

I believe they are all correct, technically. I think one is a masculine form, though. It's either Clair or Clare. Claire is the most common spelling.

My name is Claire, and it is misspelled a lot. One of my managers, whom I've worked with for years, always spells my name Clair. I've given up correcting it with him. Lol. I'm the only Claire there, so it really isn't a big deal.
