Which kind do you have?
I had the non hormonal kind Paragard[sp?] and it had either been placed wrong, or moved because it was about to puncture my womb when my OB saw it on an ultrasound and pulled it out.
Have you considered the patch? It worked well for me. I know it's not for everyone, though.
I've got my hands full with an active two year old, I'm honestly scared of having two under three lol.

Nope. I'm 22 and my OB agreed to do it during my c-section in May.
Might depend on the state, though.

I suppose it depends on the doctor, the state, and the number of kids you have.
My OB agreed to do it for me at 22.

I have the mirena now... DH's Aunt got pregnant on the patch so he is super paranoid about it. We both feel pretty comfortable with the mirena since I had it before for three years with no problems.

Well then that is out. I'll probably get the shot every three months (i think its every 3 months)

As long as your OB checks it to make sure it's in place from time to time, you should be fine though.

I guess I need to keep appointments regularly.... I usually dont go to the doctors unless I absolutely have to, an unfortunate habit I gained from my mother who never took us to the doctor unless she absolutely had no choice, also for appearance.
