40 days or 2 months?

Not to sound all sex addict or anything, but i have a question. As of what i have known you have to let 40 days pass before any sexual activities and etc. BUT the obgyn who did the csection ( not my obgyn but he was the one on call) told me to wait 2 months!!!   lol dont get me wrong, i could/can wait if its for my own good, but i really wanna jump on my DH! Lol jk. :p tell me your wait time and etc! Pls and thxs!

my daughter was 9 weeks old i believe...but i had her vaginally, it hurt sooo bad

I know with a vaginal birth its only 6 wks. Not sure with a csection.

They usually recommend waiting till after your 6 week pp check up.

I had a c-section and was told 6 weeks.
We made it almost 5 weeks before we jumped each other

I had a vaginal birth all 3 times and never waited longer then 2 1/2 weeks ;))..

Thx you for your input! I guess i will wait till after six weeks. Or atleast 5 :p lol
