Flat irons

I desperately need to replace my flat iron. Any suggestions on a good flat iron for thick, wavy hair?

Sounds like we have the same hair type. I have a Chi and I love it. I hope it won't ever break cuz I paid over $100 for it. Worth every penny in my opinion. Do you put anything in your hair to get it straighter? Is there anything you can do so it's not so poofy?

Mine has calmed down a lot since I usually wear it straight but all I use for product is a shine spray called Shiny Happy People by S Factor lol.

My hairstylist got it for me from the beauty supply place years ago...not even sure you could still get it.
