Pfft totally not selfish!! You need a break, and besides it'll probably be a fun night for everyone, including the grandparents and the kids. Lets face it, everyone knows when it comes to spending the night at someone elses place means staying up late, having treats and having a great time. Your kids will probably love it, and this way you get to have some fun too and not worry about it!! You know your kids are safe and in good hands...relax and enjoy!
