I unfortunately knew too many in my opinion. Three out of my five best friends TTC on purpose in highschool. The other two had accidental pregnancies. Only one out of those five is still married (and happy at that) to the first father. The others have gone through at least one divorce and a couple have gotten married again due to pregnancy.

Yeah, I know quite a few people like that too, unfortunately.

I agree with all this. I was 26 when I had my daughter. No regrets. Feel like I got all my partying and some traveling out of my system. We will be TTC this summer for our second (and last) child so I'm hoping it wont take too long because I will be 29 in April. My daughter will be 3 in October so I feel a 3+ year age gap will be perfect for our children. We already agreed if I dont get pregnant by the time I'm 30 than we will stop TTC.

I had a child at age 17.. and my second at age 32. I am MUCH better equipped to raise her and give her the attention she needs now, plus I'm a lot more stable and able to financially care for my kids at this age.

I had my son right before my 29th birthday. I honestly can't imagine someone having kids before 25...there was so much I got to do in my life that would have either not been possible or would have been 1000 times more difficult...graduating from college, world travel, establishing a career....

Yeah, I don't regret it at all. On the other hand, I can't imagine why someone in their early 20's would be wanting to get married or having kids. Just my opinion.

Lol!
This happened to me the other day. I was carded and the lady was like "OMG! 1978?! I thought you were 20!"
Then she asked what my secret was.
I told her good skin care and a lot of prayer.

Same here. Was born in 78, and I get carded for EVERYTHING. And I do nothing to preserve my appearance.

If I could go back, I'd wait until my late 20s or early 30s to have kids.

This young mom smurf is for the birds.

Lol! That's it then!
By chance, do you have oily skin? Or more oily/combo?
I've had oily skin for years, since my mid twenties, and I've learned to never fully dry out the oil and it causes wrinkles. Most people with oily skin are well preserved.

Haha! Same with me! My Mom is almost 61 and she could easily be 40. The ONLY "age defying" think I do for my skin is wear age defying makeup...and that's mostly just because I like the way it looks/feels when I'm wearing it. Also, I figure if I'm going to wear makeup, it mine as well have some good stuff in it too
