yep, that law was passed recently right under our noses...the one that states you can be imprisoned for any amount of time no matter what. These are American citizens they are doing this too with no criminal records.

It is sickening how much the government gets away with.

I think that it is naive to presume that our government is not capable of having a secret agenda.

If we will do it to further our agenda aboard, there is no reason to believe they wouldn't do the same at home. Why wouldn't people in power work together to further what they want to occur? Look at the Manhattan project. Most of the people working ON the project didn't even know that is what they were doing until AFTER the fact & had no idea the small part they were given to do was anything to do with building an atomic weapon. And I agree. Criminalized dissent and ripping apart the Constitution is all but a slam dunk in the US Supreme Kangaroo Kourt.
I do not trust many things from the government.
There are some conspiracies that I don't believe, some I do.
I do believe in secret societies, or not-so-secret societies as people are starting to become more aware of them. Or they were aware back then and just didn't say anything.
My uncle was a Freemason and even though he was a veteran, they officiated his funeral. They did a few military procedures like the draping, folding and presenting of the flag but "they" did it, not Honor Guard. He was buried in his Masonic garb....It was a very strange funeral, to say the least.
While I didn't know what went on behind closed doors, I can say my uncle was a very influential, respected member of his community and the Masons that attended his funeral were as well.
JFK made a great speech on secret societies, less than three years before he was assassinated, which purportedly is one of the reasons he was targeted. In a poll conducted, 80% of Americans suspect his death was a plot or cover-up.

the thing is, that has been a rumor since washington was president.

My view is those in control do have an agenda but it's no secret... we are already living it.

Keep people happy and distracted
Keep people working and obedient
Keep people dependant on the system

Specifics will vary depending on which country you are in. If these things run smoothly then security usually wins over freedom and people will continue to devote themselves to lives of slavery to the dollar. Go humanity!
