12w 3d ultrasound

I got an ultrasound done today. Have any of you found out the gender this early and it be right? We think it might be a boy but I don't want to get my hopes up. I don't have a crotch shot tho. =[ Just wanted to share a couple of my pictures! =]



P.s. I know my name is on them. It is whatever..

I wouldn't trust the sex this early. The genitals have only just started to differentiate.

i know that... I was just curious. I'm not trusting it.

Nope. Earliest we got a crotch shot was 14wks and it sure looked boy but I didn't set it in stone until 16wks, and today (at 20wks) I was still slightly unsure it would still be a boy lol

not quite that early but I was told boy at 12w6d, confirmed at 19wks and again at birth haha!

The told me 80% that this was a girl in a level II and they were right but they were sure to say don't go out and buy pink! This was like 12 wks and a few days.

Not at 12wks but I had one at 15 weeks and it was clearly a boy lol
We got 3d pictures but the sex was confirmed usin just the regular ultrasounds

Congratulations! Yes, you can find out the gender at 12 weeks but unless you are an experienced tech, boy and girl parts look VERY similar. You have to take your time to check multiple angles...

Yup and between the crotch shots are not used...is usually a profile if the body. Its only 80% accurate according to my MFM but that's pretty good.
