How long did it take for you to go into labor...

...after getting your membranes stripped? I've started losing pieces of my mucus plug about two weeks ago. On Monday I had an appointment and my doctor said if I am open she will strip them. I am currently 2CM so she did. After that I started losing a lot more of the plug. How much longer did you go into labor after that?

The next day. But it doesn't mean anything, it could be a couple days to weeks.

two hours with my youngest daughter, next day with my youngest son.

With my oldest I went into labor 4 hours afterwards, with my second it took 3 hours and with my youngest it took about an hour. I had them swept today and I'm not feeling a damn thing. I've been losing my mucous plug for awhile now. I believe I'm going to go over due. So don't get your hopes up that it will work. Good luck though.

Got them stripped twice, still induced at 10 days overdue.

I was having regular contractions from 5:30 am to about 12:00 pm, that ended up tapering off. Went to my Midwife appointment where they stripped my membranes, and I went into active labor that night. Ironically we got an ultrasound after the membrane sweep (I was overdue by a week) and turns out the baby was breech lol. I had to have an emergency C-Section that night because around 7:00 I was having contractions every 3 minutes apart.
