Medicine Question

yes i know.. i've been asking a lot of medicine questions.. but i like to be informed lol.

Has anyones child ever taken Focalin (i think thats how its spelled). What types of side effects did you notice? What did they get it for? Did it help what it was given for?

I know it will tell me the generic side effects to look for.. but i like hearing personal experiences.

Have you googled it yet? And looked it up on the drug site?

I forgot to to do it but I'm going to now. Because I've never heard of it, I don't think many people have taken it. That and because your insurance wouldn't cover it, I would think it's a fairly new medication.

So here's what I found.

It definitely looks new, I don't know if your going to find people that have taken it.

From drugs.com it's a form of Ritalin, which is why we've never been prescribed it, our doctor refuse ritalin for Jacob.

It's definitely a new drug because it has a coupon program. It looks like it's an extended release form of ritalin. So for example if your insurance was going to cover a generic, it would be ritalin, at least that's what I'm finding out about it.
