DH is but he's not open about it. If he was, I wouldn't be with him. And he knows not to talk about that dumb smurf with me.

When was 18, a friend of the family came up and stayed with us for a couple of months. He had a swastika tattooed on his leg and is openly racist. In high school he use to call me a race trader because I was dating a black guy.

Anyways. When he came to stay with us, it was when I lived in NC. I refused to let him go ANYWHERE with me because most of my friends weren't white, and he was openly racist. If I am not willing to let my friends hang out with me because of their racism, I most definitely wouldn't be with someone who is the same way.

I would be embarrassed to go out in public with such a person. No, I would not be able to date or marry such a person.
