If you are a SAHM do you feel isolated? I feel like I never see my friends and I never go out unless it is to the grocery store.   I love my kids so much, but I miss having adult conversations.

Yep and it's caused me to go into a deep depression.
Can't do anything about it though because DH works all day and I don't have my own car.

Heck yeah. I go days without talking to anyone besides my kids. I fear that by the time I will have adult interactions I'll be so socially awkward that no one will talk to me anymore lol.

I stay on a pretty consistent schedule, that includes me getting "adult" time. So, no, I don't feel isolated. I have in the past, but not in a very long time.

We live 25 miles out of town and I don't drive
So I'm stuck at home all day every day except for Sundays

Nope. I can go out if I want. Just because I'm a SAHM doesn't mean I forgot how to drive.

haha I was a SAHM for 9 months when I lived in Michigan. I wasn't working, no work up there, too much snow. I wasn't from there, didn't know a single person besides my mom, which is why I moved.
When I got a job people said I talked so much, never shut up ahahah. I swore I was socially retarded for awhile  

No. Thankfully my twin sister and I live 2 blocks apart and she's a SAHM also. So between the two of us we keep each other company while taking the kids places.

Wow I didn't realize how many girls on here don't even have a car and can't leave their property. That must suck so hard. I have my car and a subway nearby but it's so cold now that I barely leave my house. Dressing up 2 small, sick kids is a PITA.

I've been a SAHM for 3 years and I have zero friends. I don't go out, don't do anything but grocery shop and sit at home with my kids. Alone. (Other than them)

When I was, I did so badly that I got a part time job.

I went to my cousins bachelorette party last weekend and I felt like a complete outsider! I realized that I have nothing in common with people who don't have kids! And I learned how much I talk about my kids. Lol

Whenever my mom or friends call me the conversations are no less than 45 minutes lol. I talk a LOT.
