He's a quantity surveyor

Do you wish you were a working mom?
Not just 'working a job' but I do wish I had a career, I want to be a midwife.

Do you get government support?
Yes

What does your husband/boyfriend do for a living?
He's a plumber.

Did you have to alter your budget by getting rid of cable or other extras?
We have to be careful with our money but we don't cut anything out.

How many vehicles do you have?
I have one but it's paid off. We just pay for gas but we never use it because he uses the subways.

Do you buy most things from second hand stores?
No.

Do you wish you were a working mom?
Yes. But only part-time so I can still spend most of my time with my kids.

Do you get government support?
We are on Medicaid and WIC.

What does your husband/boyfriend do for a living?
DH was in the Marine Corps

No need to alter the budget. We did just fine. We had about $400 a month leftover for extras after gas, groceries and bills were taken care of.
How many vehicles do you have?
We have 2 cars and a motorcycle
Do you buy most things from second hand stores?
Nope, I think I have been in a second hand store twice in my life. We didn't have them really where we were stationed.
Do you wish you were a working mom?
Sometimes but I enjoying being here with my daughter.
Do you get government support?
None

Military. We budget accordingly after savings and necessities are taken care of. We prefer Netflix anyway. 3...mine, his, and the motorcycle if it counts. We buy mostly new but I won't pass up a deal if its in good condition. I don't want to work right now and we aren't on assistance.

DH is an IT specialist/Sharepoint administrator for the government.

We don't really have a ton of "extras". We have our phones (Straight talk), we have Netflix and internet, but no cable or anything like that. We don't really need it.

How many vehicles do you have?
We have 2. Payment on DH's truck. I paid cash for mine when I got my enlistment bonus.

Do you buy most things from second hand stores?
Nope. Not to sound like a dick but I hate buying from secondhand stores. I just shop mostly clearance/sales at retail stores.

Do you wish you were a working mom?
Yes. But it's not financially smart.

Do you get government support?
Nope.

Hes a plumber

Yes but thats only becasue I believe in reusing things *except jeans I can never find my sons size in jeans so they are always bought new*

Sometimes but its always going to be you're doing something and want another thing every once in a while

Hello! My husband is a union pipeliner.... nope, we didn't hafta alter our budget (he makes more an hour than.if we were both working decent jobs). I like to buy some clothes for DS at a second hand store bc hes 2 and destroys clothes lol!!! No I would not like a job, I looooove being home w ds!!! And nope we do not receive government assistance   good luck to ya momma!!!


Ohh....and we have 2 main vehicles and a sweet old jacked up Chevy and also my husbands 'mud truck'

Sometimes just to pass the time

My husband is a first class in the Navy.
We haven't had to cut anything like cable out, but we're careful with our money.
We have 2, only one we make payments on but that's about to paid off.
No we don't by things from second hand stores, but would if we had to.
I don't want to be working until the kids are in school. I want to spend the early years with them.
No we don't have government assistance.

Did you have to alter your budget by getting rid of cable or other extras? No, in fact he keeps getting more crap

Do you buy most things from second hand stores? No, but I do enjoying thrifting

Do you get government support? WIC we make too much to qualify for anything else

I am a stay at home mom to two boys. I can't find a job and have been rejected from most places I have applied or gotten an interview from. So I am going to school to get my degree 

What does your husband/boyfriend do for a living? Shipping and Receiving/ Quality Control
Did you have to alter your budget by getting rid of cable or other extras? We limit eating out as much as possible, we have cable and internet but may cancel once the discount time period is up in May. We both have prepaid phones because it is cheaper that way.
How many vehicles do you have? One vehicle we are making car payments on and a motorcycle that is fully owned and paid off.
Do you buy most things from second hand stores? We buy a lot of the kid's clothes at thrift stores because they outgrow clothes too fast right now at 2 years old and 6 months old.
Do you wish you were a working mom? Yes and no. I would like the extra money but at the same time there won't be any extra with how expensive daycare is for two babies.
Do you get government support? We have WIC and fall under the guidelines for every other assistance but get rejected. We make it work though with what we have and we are OK but not where we would like to be.

No.

How many vehicles do you have?
None, we have a great bus system here and no need for a car as of yet.

Do you buy most things from second hand stores?
Nope, but I do go to second hand stores a lot purely cos you can find lots of cheap good stuff and no matter how much money you have, a bargain is always good!

Do you wish you were a working mom?
I am going to be studying soon so I can become a working mum, and yes I wish I was because it would be easier than putting all the financial responsibilities on SO (though he would never say that's a problem)

Do you get government support?
No.
