Yes hummus is always cold, but I make it myself and it's delish. A can of chick peas, some olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, fresh garlic and put it all in a food processor. It's so good. I usually pour some balsamic vinegar on it too and have it with whole grain pita bread and tomatoes. Mmmm
My kids eat it like its going out of style.

My mom used to make fruit salads with a big slice of lettuce on a plate, then a couple pineapple rings, then about 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese, and some sliced peaches and pears on top of that. It went well with all of it and it's a really textured small salad that could even work as a lunch. If you're just snacking I'd say baby carrots, celery, apple slices or peach slices would taste good dipped in it.

Pomegranates are about 100 calories for the whole thing, but I can't eat a whole one in one sitting. My daughter and I will share a 1/2 one. They are fun to eat because you have to take apart the seeds. They have a unique sweet but kind of tart taste. They're also filled with antioxidants. You could break one apart at home and take just the seeds into work in a tupperware container and snack on the seeds guilt free.

Dude it's awesome. Lol I don't think it sounds gross at all. Avocados are a neutral food.

I usually use the canned low sodium ones and rinse them before I make it.

I'm pretty sure you could use greek yogurt as a substitute for mayo, in case you end up not liking it with avacado.
Do you have a freezer at work? Frozen grapes are one of my FAVORITE snacks evah. Also, you could get PB2 instead of regular peanut butter, it's a powder made from pressing roasted peanuts to remove the oils and what not. It's not got the amount of protein that regular peanut butter does, but if you like the flavor, it could spice up smoothies, or reconstituted, make apples or bananas more nummy.
