Who has the Mirena Iud?

How were your periods?
I was getting light ones every 2 weeks but last one I bled for 10 days and it was all clots now this month my period is 10 days late. Not sure what to think about it.

you poor poor gal I HATED MINE...I never go a period but i did get, MASSIVE wieght gain, huge migraines, blurry vision, and pregnancy symptoms...Then my body was rejecting it and had it removed instantly i felt better....I still have have yet to have a period but Im thinking thats cause I'm nursing...

I'll have a random period every six months or so and even then it's very light. I love my Mirena.

I get pregnancy symptoms the day before I start my period every time but I figure this is better than gett pregnant again. I have a depo baby and a mini pill baby so I'm paranoid about that. My dr said this is the only birth control she thinks will work for us.

How long have you had yours?

I don't have it anymore but I never got a period on it. It's pretty normal to have irregular periods with it. I just didn't like how it made me feel and I was always paranoid it was going to fall out and I wouldn't notice or it would embed in my uterus lol. So I got it taken out.

Since August of 2009, so almost 3.5 years.

Mine fell out in the first week that I had it (we assume, I never saw it). I didn't have a period for another 20 months or so (I got my period back at 23 months PP, it was wonderful since we are not planning to have more children), also nursing.
