birth control methods

My husband and I are going to see our doctor today to discuss our birth control options. i currently have the paragard, but after so many problems since being on it i am getting it taken out. Paragard was basically my last effort on birth control. I can't have hormonal birth control due to SLE and my doctor failed to mention that i should of never received paragard because of my condition either. I have tried every form of birth control possible and it has always made me very sick. I also got pregnant with my first son on the pill and my second son on the implanon. We have been discussing having my tubes tied, but i am holding up hope in getting a girl eventually. With SLE i don't have as many chances to have children, due to flare ups and complications so i know i will be putting my health at risk by carrying another child, but i am willing to do so. I guess my question is: How many of you use the withdraw method? How successful are you? We are probably going to try for a third child within the next year or so, but if it happened sooner that would be okay also...but we are trying to wait a little while since our youngest is only 7mo old.

Are your periods regular? You could temp and chart. It will take a couple months to get it down but is pretty successful.

I used the withdraw method for 7 years (yes 7) and NO baby, we broke up and I got preg with my son 3 months later we did not use the withdraw method. So I say it works.

The withdrawal method is how I got pregnant.

They're pretty regular with the paragard, but i'm not sure once i get taken off of it what will happen. I'll have to look into that, it seems pretty interesting. I think my husband is more concerned than i am! I swear he has super sperm. I could get the paragard out today and be pregnant by tomorrow i feel lol!

When i was in my teen yrs and too embarrassed to ask for birth control thats what my boyfriend at the time and i did, i never got pregnant thank goodness seems i was being so dumb at the time. We dated for 4 yrs. But my ex and his wife are actually having trouble and going through fertility treatment right now so that kind of makes me think he couldn't of gotten me pregnant even if we didn't use the pull out method. Now my husband and I, a whole different story one of us is VERY fertile so it scares me a bit. i should say him more than me...i love kids and would pop out 50 if i could, my husband on the other hand loves kids but doesnt want them so close together. our boys are 22mo apart and he says thats close enough lol

I wondered if maybe it was him he still doesnt have any kids and my husband and I have 3 kids 2 boys and a girl and I swear the middle guy was a one time with no protection so they call me fertile mertal (sp?) I would love to have more kids but I think the hubby is done he said he was done when we had #2 but I talked him into #3 and thamk god I did cuz we have a pretty little girl who's brothers just love love love her. But yeah it could of been him that was infertile

The first time my husband and i had sex i got pregnant with our oldest...i was on the pill and it was a spur of the moment type thing and i didn't think i'd get pregnant, welp i did lol. i kept thinking this is so nuts i went all those years with my ex and nothing and the first time bam! I want a little girl so bad, i realize its a 50/50 shot either way but even if i have another boy i'd be happy
