chicken pox? or what else?

2 days ago my son (5) had a 2 bumps that just looked like hives (normal for him to randomly get them.) 1 was in the corner of his eye. 1 was under his lip. today there are 5. but they do not look like hies now. Now they look like tiny pimples.1 by his eye, 3 by his mouth and I found 1 by his nose.

He has had a runny nose. I am keeping him home from school just incase. My daughter (3) just has the runny nose.

Did he have the vax? My dd didn't and when she got them they spread FAST after seein a few.

I don't know if it's chicken pox but DD gets pimple randomly sometimes, usually when she's having an allergic reaction. Maybe he had hives because something was irritating him and it turned into a rash?

my experience with chicken pox is that he would feel sick...and be covered in bumps within 2 days...so probably not that

He did have a vax.

Hmmm. I sure hope not, we were with his allergist yesterday and she took note of them but did not think they were allergy related. ( he only had two)

they can jump on him just from being outside. I don't think they are chicken pox though.
