Impeachment

My mom just emailed me and told me she saw where a group of citizians are filing articles of impeachment against Obama for treason and sedition, etc. What do you think? Good idea or bad idea? Do you think it will go through? If it does and we get Biden as president then do you think he would be any better? Or would you hope he would go too and Boehner is next in line. Idk much about him other than that he is republican.... I want to leave my views on it out I probably wont comment. I want to see what others think.

On the wethepeople page (where people can petition the white house) there have been several. As much as I dislike a lot of his policies he hasn't done anything to be impeached. Depending on how aggressively he attempts to diminish the 2nd amendment that may change, but as of now no he shouldn't be impeached.

I think it is well past the time needed for impeachment of Obama and Biden. Not so sure on Boehner though I will have to do some research. I know the Obama believers will differ from that but I am strongly against both Republican and Democrat parties because it is screwing up the USA... IMO at least.

I did read recently where someone (and Im sorry I really dont remember who) Said that the interesting thing about the second amendment is that we won't need it until they try to take it away. I thought that was fairly accurate.

Like most things (right to freedom of speech, 2nd amendment, relationships, etc) you don't know what you have until it is gone.

Oh I don't doubt it. I am hoping that we have time before he starts enacting all the executive order's he has written for us to get our tax refund and buy ammo before they limit the sale of that, and possibly another gun or two.

1st amendment is already restricted.
2nd is on its way.
4th amendment is gone.
5th I am sure is going to be gone soon with the 1st being restricted.
6th is limited as they can now hold you indefinitely with no trial.

The whole this is smurfing stupid. They are trying to impeach him for taking away their guns. If they had two brain cells to rub together enough to READ this, it does not say ANYWHERE that they are taking away ANY guns. They are simply fixing some broken laws that were letting people get guns without proper background checks, and are now including any serious mental health history into them to try and prevent people with severe mental health issues from getting guns. They are also putting into act more gun safety and gun storage laws and educational programs for people which I think is about damn time. Too many children and sick people have had easy access to firearms for far too long.

I'm not even referring to just obama, I'm not a huge politics nut but my father is so I hear about it all the time. I also just got done with two history classes(college) that opened my eyes up to the past (being in florida grade school wasn't exactly full of anything) Sheeple (sheep + people) will follow anything they are told to do We are the laughing stock of the world because we are so quick to listen to anything anybody tells us to do. We listen to everything on the news, and believe that one guy running the country knows best (not just obama, but all the presidents before him) Would romney of been better probably not, does it matter anymore not really...until the people stop following and start taking back whats theres we are a nation of sheeple.

you can make all the laws you want but they do nothing to stop the people we don't want having guns from getting them. I work in probation felons and mentally ill will find a way to get a gun if they want it.

You have to have a background check to purchase a gun from a dealer, a gun show or where ever else so the problem does not lie there. It lies with the individual people who either lie on their forms for the DOJ or the criminals who obtain guns illegally. So in those two cases nothing the DOJ can do about it. And when Obama looks past Holder for giving guns to the cartels though in the EO's that he has it will prosecute anyone for giving away guns illegally? Something is fishy to me.
