I want to know if LO is going to get my flu!

So, I've had the flu since saturday, so for 5 days now (5 days since symptoms started). When will I know if LO is going to get it or not? Yesterday morning he had a slight cough and his voice sounded a little raspy in the morning but then that was it. I'm finally back at work today and DH says that LO is totally normal today. I'm just wondering because we have so many plans that depend on if he's going to get sick or not. How long can it take? All three of us had the flu shot btw.

He has his very first basketball practise (first sport ever, I'm excited!) tomorrow evening, if he doesn't have any symptoms/fever is it safe to take him? I would feel like total smurf if he gave all the other kids the flu but I really hate for him to miss out just as a precaution.

He may have just started to catch it and then got over it. If he doesn't have any symptoms or a fever or anything, I'd still take him. He might not even get full blown sick.
