It's actually "an" idiot, not "a" idiot... when the following word starts with a vowel, it would be "an".

I get what you're saying, OP... you were pointing out the similarity between the pic ( I know which one you mean ) and the girl's about me... however, most of us are just upset that you chose to post the link back to her profile, which is generally frowned upon here.

the 'a' and 'an' usage is not all according to the first letter.....it would be 'an' hour until dinner not 'a' hour till dinner...it all depends on the sound the word after starts with. If it starts with the vowel sound it will be 'an' and if it starts with a consonant sound it will be 'a'

Like I poster earlier, I'm new here I didn't know the rules...I was informed via message that after 3 months an account was closed...I didn't know that was misinformation and I am truly sorry for posting her link...I do apologize for it deeply....I just found that word and the picture funny and I thought maybe everyone else would get a kick out of it as well...I didn't mean any disrespect to her and by NO means I was NOT making fun of her....I've already sent her a message and informed her that I was truly sorry for what I did but I wasn't making fun of her.

LOL I'm not the best about making sure my posts are perfect but I sure would double check my own if I was going to tear someone a new smurf over it.

I just find it bullsmu*f that I get called all these names and degraded over something so small. And when it comes to grammar I just went through and everyone made at least one error in either spelling or context yet they never got ripped out I made one small error in the beginning and all hell broke loose. I try and correct someone after they continually make the same error and I still get told I'm wrong. I just don't understand people these days! They say I act like I'm all perfect not once did I ever say I was but heaven forbid you point out their error that makes you stupid! SMDH WTF?!
