Since the new year, there has been at least a dozen children hit by cars while waiting at the bus stop, some killed. There's been deaths in car accidents and hit and run accidents. I can't recall any murders that have been committed, in that same area, since the new year.

To get technical, there's been more deaths due to plane crashes in the area, then "gun related" murders.

It's crazy to think, if I lived in NY, and was found with the knife I carry around with me at all times, I could be charged with a felony because of it.

It wont make me feel safer in NY or have any less concern for the many family members i have there.
So, the ratio of illegal guns being with the wworong people compared with legal guns with the sane and law-abiding just went up.

They havent done anything to help mentally ill get help.

Thats ridiculous.... Mexico has strict gun laws. Only authorized people can own guns (police and the military). Its actually the opposite, Mexican drug lords and criminals get their guns from the US.
