Traveling to a state that has a looser laws and buying there? There are many in-country possibilities that are a lot easier than driving to Mexico.

But this ISN'T a huge change from the previous law. At all. Ny is known for it's tough gun restrictions. The only thing this does, is ADD to it, limit the amount of bullets that can fit into ONE clip, put stricter laws on bringing a gun on school property, states that a year from the date the bills goes into affect, all assault weapons MUST be registered, and puts new protocol on buying guns at gun shows/gun stores. Oh and makes it illegal to obtain a assault weapon off the internet.

That's not asking TO much.

In recent years, I've seen them really crack down on stuff that's sold on there. I've seen posts get flagged and deleted when they skirt around "illegal" activity.

By all means, make the concenquences for violent crimes more strict. I'm all for that. I'm all for making more strict punishment for bringing weapons on school property, renewing permits more often and doing more checks on those getting carry and conceal permits.

exactly...lol we have stricter laws on buying super glue nowadays why not put it on weapons I love my guns ...I like to hunt ...I like to feel safe...I also like that my husband makes a living keeping this country safe with you guessed it guns and big machines that shoot other guns lol....however I am also the first person to be picky about who can own the dang things because you need to know what you are doing you need to take classes and be safe ...smurf it wont make immedient results but sure as hell will in the long run by slowly but surely making it easier to hunt down where illegal guns are coming from by keeping track of our supplies of legal ones...it will be great when a gun is stolen and since its registered can be reported before its used in a horrible crime where now the law will punish that person horribly guns are a privlege and right technically but they should be used responsibly ...lol anyone else wish we could be as strict about people who have kids jk that was mean to say but I do wish that could be as tightly controlled

Yeah but do you know how many people put up that they're military item collectors which includes weapons or that they're looking for antiques which can obviously be just as dangerous.

There are completely legit ways around it.
