I cry... lol but no I miss those nap days. He just plays, watches movies, colors things like that.

We cuddle and watch a movie during nap time. Sometimes he will fall asleep but usually he doesn't. He is 4.5

I already miss them too and this JUST started. Luckily he's ready for bed a lot earlier but those couple hours were MINE!

I wish he would sit for a movie. He can't even cuddle in bed with me. He's constantly fidgeting around, pushing the blankets off, and demanding things.

That sucks   I can't remember how he was at that age. But I'm pretty sure I forced him to nap some days  

when my DD stopped taking naps, we had quiet time in her room. she could quietly play on her bed, or watch a movie.
most days she fell asleep though. she napped until she was 5.

Oh I can't deny that I've tried. Yesterday I was absolutely exhausted and went in there about every 2 minutes trying to get him to sleep, but he just wouldn't.

Lucky you! I thought he was going to be one of those kids but it's not looking like it. I'm contemplating just throwing him in the car during nap time and driving around until he's awake. Lol

That is a plus kind of. My son would nap for 3 hours and go to sleep at 10 but now he goes to sleep at 7 so I have "me" time at night instead. Also sometimes we do quiet time when he seems a little sluggish but refuses to nap. I'll have him curl up on the couch with his blankies and watch a movie instead of running around and being all loud.

yeah i was pretty lucky. she even goes to bed at a regular time, even when she took naps. she goes to bed at 8 every night, and wakes up around 6:30-7 in the morning.
