Migraines

posted 16th Jan
Does anybody know of any natural remedies for a migraine? I took an ibuprophen because it's all I have and it's not working. I'm usually on meds for migraines but I had to quit taking them during my pregnancy and I haven't been to my doc to get back on them yet. I can deal with a bad headache, I cannot deal with how it blurs my vision   I have stuff to do and I can't see correctly.

Caffeine. Dark room and an ice pack. That's what helps me.

have gotten horrible migraines since I was 3 years old. The Type I get my doctor considers Mini- Strokes due to my left arm tingle, I can't talk, can't see and vomit non-stop. I haven't found anything that works to make them go away. The only thing that helps ease the pain so I can sleep are "be Kool patches" for migrains. They are a thick strip you peel and stick to your forehead, they stay cold for 6 hours and have a menthol/lavender smell which is suppose to help the migraine. They usually help me. You can get them at CVS.

Oh I've never heard of those. Interesting.

I have been using them for years! They are the only thing that help ease some of the pain so I can fall asleep and rest. I always use them when I get a migraine. There is no medicine in them either so they are safe for pregnancy
