Its not too bad   once we got Dean diagnosed and started treatment he's like a whole new person...some days its rocky, but nothing like he was before...

Adhd and odd...

1st adhd, then maybe 2 months later he was diagnosed with odd, after we started treating the adhd, the odd came out full force... we had noticed it before but we thought it was just a phase, or he would grow out of it, he ended up getting kicked outta a private school and cps was called because they couldn't belive he was that bad and he had a normal homelife... sad thing is its way better now that me and his dad are getting along and we talk everyday and he talks to him everyday, my husband has been nothing but supportive and caring with Dean, he loves his siblings we couldn't find anything to say, *oh hey this is why he's acting out*

Lol... they all sit in front of charts an I ask if they *did* whatever and they answer, then Dean and Jade put happy faces on their charts, Maks sits all patient like *yeeessss here we go* he aswers *yeah to everything then bounces all satisfied, like that was easy*

They always make faces at him like he sucks...

This sounds off the wall, but you might want to have her tracking tested.

E is extremely bright and has always tested high in IQ tests. When he got into 1st grade he became extremely hard to control and would have sudden outbursts of screaming and crying, throwing chairs etc. We didn't know how this happened.

We put him on a chart that seemed to help. 2nd grade rolled around and we thought our troubles were over.

His reading scores went down and we saw similar behavior.

Just to rule out the mundane stuff, I took him to get his eyes checked. Turns out, his left eye is lazy(not to the point where you'd notice when looking at him) and he has whats called a Tracking disorder. His little brain skips over large groups of words, which is why he doesn't test well.

He now wears glasses designed to strengthen his left eye. We're hoping it also helps with the tracking disorder, but that's unlikely. He'll need vision therapy to train his brain to intake more info at once.

Just something I thought I'd put out there, since I didn't expect it.
