Soap vaginal question

My mother in law disagree, she thinks it's gross to not use soap.... when she gives my girls a bath she thinks they need to use soap on their vaginal area. But I been told that all you need is just a wash cloth and water. So it irritates me that she makes them use soap on their vaginal area.... do your normally use soap or just water?!

I use soap on the outer vaginal area.

Any soap or bubble bath would irritate my hoo ha when I was younger.

I don't think it's a big deal if they arent having a negative reaction to it.

Yes I do. My daughter gets odors pretty easily.

Me too!! But my mother in law is old school... I don't have a smell down there, and I been just using water like I was told... hot water lol... anytime I tried soap it makes me get a yeast infection.

I think thats if you go on the inside. Maybe im wrong though.

I just wash the outside, or esle I don't feel clean. =/ I have to be very careful though, I get bladder infections like nobody would believe.

thats not so bad, she thinks they need to clean up in it... with soap and I totally disagree I even found a website... I hope she reads it... because I don't like making them use soap up in their vaginal areas.

I was always showed to wash myself with soap....

I make Jade clean herself with soap, she uses baby wash and I make sure she's rinsed well,

Oh no thats to much and can cause infection. She should be respecting your wishes as their parent.

the only time i clean up in it with soap is during the heavy days of my period and after anal sex. I use the summers eve wash though and tons of rinsing.

I use soap.

That might be the case. But I've never had any issues, so I figure stick with what works lol.
