Side Pain?

Okay i just started to have this sharp pain. Its like on my left side alittle bit over from my belly button. My mother in law said it might be my Appendicitis. So i got on webmd and did the symptoms thing and it said it might be that. It said it could be very dangerous. So should i call my doctor in the morning and get an apointment set up or should i just wait intill the weekend and see if the pain goes away?
