It doesn't matter what you meant - you can't spell worth smurf, read or comprehend, or even form a proper sentence.

We had discussed inpatient previously. But therapy has seemed to help so much. He is a very troubled child, but the change on him over the past 4 years has been substantial. He is not even the same person. There are some unfortunate legalities that limit my husbands and my ability to have him institutionalized, and though I agree with what you all are saying about inpatient treatment, he has extreme abandonment issues an I believe this may only perpetuate the problem.
This makes life extra difficult for our family and we have to be hyper vigilant parents. But if we were to scoot him out of our home, he would be wrecked. Completely destroyed.

These behaviors had completely ceased until recently, though. So I am hopeful things won't progress further. Just unsure of how to proceed without agitating the situation

As for school- his teachers know about what happened, as do his bus drivers (one who reported a behavior) and they are keeping an eye on him.

Oh goodness, so sorry OP   The only scenarios of this I have encountered don't have happy endings. I don't want to make you feel like that is going to be your life, so if you don't want to know I won't divulge.
But he clearly needs help in a different form. What kind of therapist is it? Have you ever taken him to a cognitive behavioral therapist?

It's sad that your hands are kind of tied in the situation.

I really don't know what to suggest, apart from help from a specialist.I really do hope that his behaviour changes and that he gets some help for his and your family's sake.x

I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through... but I feel like you just can't have it all. Destroy your son or destroy your daughters? Not a fair position to be in, but what other option do you have if after all your efforts he's still acting inappropriate towards them? It sucks because he's so young and it's not his fault but you need to protect your babies.
