Lazy???

posted 15th Jan
Earlier today i walked to the supermarket from my house which is about 45 mins away i walked with my partner and i started to get really sore at the very bottom of my stomach is was like pains and cramps is this normal by the time we got home from the supermarket we got a taxi because there was a lot of shopping i was so sore and tired i feel asleep for an hour and a half and when i woke up my partner told me i was becoming very lazy   I was really annoyed and said well i am 32 weeks pregnant obviously i am going to get tired i was quite annoyed by what he had said and he apologized a short while later i just wish he could understand how much this pregnancy is taking it out of me

I would kill my SO if he ever said that. Obviously you are pregnant so your body is going to ache. Jerk

That sucks your partner wasn't very understanding. A 45 minute walk would be an achievement for me!!! I would end up spending the whole afternoon in bed sleeping it off especially if I did shopping after the walk. That is with being 17 weeks pregnant, let alone 32 weeks. I have afternoon naps on days where I haven't done anything but wake up with the kids and sort them out of a morning. Growing a baby is a tough job!!! I just wish I was as active as I was with my first. Fourth time around is really taking its toll.

Oh and remember walking is exercise. So if you are not used to walking that distance then it will cause aches and stuff whilst pregnant. Literally I can be doubled over if I walk for too long. I try to keep shopping trips as short as possible.

Men are ignorant. They won't understand how much hard work it is to be pregnant. Mine are 7,5 & 3. Sometimes I wish they were in their teens so I could have more me time and not have to do the school run. 5 minute walk up that hill several times a day makes me want an 8 hour nap! If only I could.

I couldn't imagine my DH saying something like that to me when I was pregnant. The pregnancy hormones made me even more of a bitch than usual, so my head probably would've exploded.
