re: name Elliot

It's a male name but I do like it for a girl.

It's a boy name, but it's also one of the only boy names I think is acceptable for a girl also.

You don't have to stick to all the rules... as long as you're spelling it right, I think it could be cute.  

In the end, when that baby is in your arms, no one else's opinion matters.

Elliot is the only boy name I absolutely hate on girls. Every time I see a girl with the name irl I want to punch their mother in the face.

It's not about the name to me it's about tha association I have with the name. Everyone has at least one name they hate this is mine.

It sure as heck isn't Elliot. Maybe I should rephrase my opinion. On a boy I still dislike the name but on a girl I dislike it even more.

I'm usually very open and will like anything but Eliot I just can't. Most people don't like DD's name which is fine cause it wasn't even in our name list. Her name is Matilda. My husband is I obsessed with old fashioned names we can have modern nicknames for. I wanted her to be Evelyn.

lol i guess it's just one of those names. like i can't stand the name Annaliese....it sounds too close to Anal Ease. lol


Matilda is lovely though. i have it on my list for my future children (if i ever have another). lol

My daughters middle name is Elliott. It's a family surname.
