Are my results accurate?

Q Quick question about pregnancy tests. I am 3 days late of my period. The pregnancy test i took came out negative, however it was stored in my cars glove compartment for about 4 months now. The test does not expire until May 2014. The test was still wrapped and in its box, does the fact that it was stored in my car have any affect on the results? Please help.

If it's not expired, I don't think it being stored in your car makes any difference.

I'd just wait a few days and test again if AF hasn't shown up by then.

I showed up negative on home tests and blood tests. It can happen.

Do you still have the box? Some of them say the test has to be stored in a specific temperature range. If the test has been in your car that long it has most likely been stored outside of that temperature range for a period of time and that could make the test inaccurate.

But as another poster has said, test again in a few days to be sure.

I hate when people get snotty and up in arms for no reason. A lot if questions go through someone's mind when they haven't gotten their period....and test to find nothing.

I've been diagnosed ith it...what the smurf would you know anyway?!The point is...the girl wants a baby, she wants attention.She's a couple of days late on her period (she's 18 so extremely normal for someone of her age, iI'd go weeks without mine) she's done a test and its negative...yet shes posting all over baby gaga with the hope she might be pregnant.Keeping it in your car, desk, coubard, draw etc wont make any different what-so-ever with the test..Being pregnant is what effects the test.
