Teething tablets? Explanation please!

Ok, so my two month old LO has started teething. Poor little guy! Was not prepared for teething to start so soon. I have been reading about teething tablets everywhere! Can someone please explain them to me? How do they work? How often and how much do you give? I couldn't find any in the town I live in but the pharmacist was nice enough to order some for me so I am trying to get information on them before they come in. I feel bad giving him Tylenol for the pain and saw that everyone keeps talking about these tablets! Thank you everyone!

teething hurts! You can give him tylenol. You just do a few tablets under the tongue and they dissolve.

I know about the Tylenol, it just doesn't sit well with me giving him tylenol all the time is all. It was the hyland teething tablets that the pharmacist ordered. They had the gel, but she ordered the tablets cause thats what I have been reading good things about.
