September Mommies...

For all the September mommies, who is still working? When do you plan on stopping, and if you already did when did you? What line of work did you do? Just curious...I'm still working full time, and plan on quitting July 18th right after my 8th month starts. I work for a printing company where I stand and sit periodocally throughout the day, and have those high stress days when people can't make-up their mind...

I am still working! I work in a office so i sit most of the day... I plan on working as long as possible...maybe August 25th or so because I dont want to be waiting around at home everyday to go into labor!! It seems like it would DRAG by if I sat around at home all day!!! But we'll see how yucky I feel when I get bigger!!!!

Hello. Im due Sept 17th, and I plan to stop working Sept 4th. If needed though I can add a week of vacation before that OR start my leave earlier I just have to contact my HR person. But so far thats what I have decided. I work as a support worker (so I help people cook, clean, take showers, and get dressed/ready for bed). Its not that bad I am constantly moving around but we have things like lifts for the clients in wheelchairs so I am not expected to do any heavy lifting or straineous activities. Plus there is always a shift partner so they help me out a lot

I actually stopped working back in March. Not due to the pregnancy but we moved to Michigan and I just decided that I would stay home for a while. I taught first grade. But had we not moved Id still be working at least until the end of this school year.

I had planned on working until two weeks before my due date but I am just going to wait and see how I feel. I want to take 12 weeks after thats why I want to see if I can stick it out it till the end because the state does pay shit but like 55% of your income.

I picked the end of July, because I have a five yr. old boy that I have to get registered for school( he's starting kindergarten), my job leaves me no time to do anything. (With 2 hours of traffic everyday) Thats Seatttle for ya! Than I 'm taking a year off after the baby is born, so I can be home with he/she, and try to be there for my boy, and start our own business. Things are to hectic.lol! I was thinking about working till the end, but I have so much to do before the lil one comes, that I know it won't be easy to do once he/she is here. Plus I have a feeling this baby is coming in August. I really don't want to be at work when something crazy happens. lol! I have been measuring 3 weeks bigger for the last 3 dr. visits.

i run a kitchen at the local senior center so i am leaving for maternity leave at the end of July. I am due Sept 24th. I may sit in the kitchen my last month and try to delegate most of the cooking if i can possibly get away with it. It is already taking a toll on me. I have to do all the shopping too so its a lot of lifting. Lucky for me they are willing to work around whatever i want to do because at first i was planning to not go back. I am sure after i have the baby i will not want to leave him. It is going to be hard, but luckily only part time.

I'm due Sept 11th. I work in a pizza shop part time and it is non stopstanding with no breaks. I plan on working up till my due date. I can't afford to not work for more than 2 weeks. So I plan to work till a week before I am due, take 2 weeks off to be with my new son and then go back.

I'm due September 11th and I'm currently unemployed and job hunting. No one seems willing to hire a so obviously pregnant teenage girl, though. If I can land a job I'll work up until September 7th or so.
My husband doesn't want me to resume working right after Simon is born and wants me to take a few months off at least.

I'm still working, I plan on working just till I don't feel like it anymore....I figured that I'll work till Aug 20ish....That gives me the time and preparation to keep saving now so that when that time rolls around, I'm not in panic mode...good luck ladies<3
