Cramping?

posted 15th Jan
Sorry to bug the crap out of everyone for every single thing, but I feel like I get better advice here than from my friends.

Well I am 21 weeks and I am having some pain that feels like mild-medium cramps today. Nothing unbearable, no bleeding or anything, but still worries me a bit. Could it just be braxton hicks? The reason I ask is because I had similar pain with my last baby at around 15-16 weeks and the OB I was seeing said he believed it was BH and that the more kids you have, the earlier you get them, but I never heard that?

It's mostly on my left side though, so I am not sure. Should I call my midwife or is this normal? I have a prenatal appointment tomorrow, should I just bring it up then? I also thought it may just be pain from stretching, and I also heard you have more pain after a c-section from scar tissue. Anybody else had this?

i had some cramping around the same time in pregnancy and when i brought it up to a dr they said that its probably just stretching pains, and that sometimes if you dont wait more then 5 years your uterus isnt 100% back in place and sometimes it causes cramping on one side when the baby moves.....if your worried deffinently ask your dr at your appointment, but it seems normal to me i know of a couple other people who had the same issues

Thanks! I didn't wait 5 years, my littlest one is only 22 months. She does tend to be closer the left side (that's where she was at my US and they couldn't get her to move). I'm hoping it's just stretching. I'll bring it up tomorrow. Thanks for easing my worry!
