I've never experienced this before...TMI

for the last two days I've been waking up at around 3 ish (last night was at 2:50 and the night before was 3:45, so that general time) with horrid cramps...back pain, braxton hicks plus a little extra pain from it. It just sucks...last night I woke up and had the worst case of diarrhea I've ever had in my life. I'd poop, bend over in pain while pooping, finish pooping, go to wash my hands and then I'm have to bend over to relieve some of the pain and then have to poop all over again...it was horrible and hurt like a god damn bitch!....I'm thinking it was just a bad case of gas but what would cause the diarrhea?..I'm 28 weeks so could it just be third trimester symptoms?...this pregnancy is just so different than my last!

sometimes as your body starts getting itself ready for labor you empty yourself quite a few times a day. i know i had this problem only luckily for me it was during day times and not night times lol. goodluck

Maybe a stomach bug? I got a bad one around 31 weeks & it was a lot like what you described.

yeah, it's just getting worse feeling...I'm really hoping that it stops happening at night....the other night I woke up and I was so uncomfortable that I couldn't even go back to bed, I was so mad!..I got about 3 and a half hours of sleep!!

that would be so random though. I was feeling fine all day up until 3am and then the night before I had the poop cramps but the poop wasn't like this....this had to have been one of the worst cases of diarrhea I've ever had!..lol..

I actually would ask to see your doctor I had horrible loose stool all through my labor. I pretty much labored on my toilet before heading to the hospital. Just make sure your not having actual contractions and in full blown labor.

Iam almost going through the same thing..33 wks here with the poops..the last couple wks ive also been getting up around 3am with either having to go to the bathroom or backpain or what not...another example like 15 mins ago i ate one slice of pizza..when i was done eating say almost 10mins later iam running to the bathroom with cramps along..so i dont know neither...lol maybe it the joy of the pregnancy towards the end..iam all new to this also..ive also looked it up and everything say a sign of labor but you cannot always belive what u read on the internet..

ive also been feeling pressure down there where if iam laying down and have to get up ..it hurts to even walk

I would ask your doc. I would say a touch of a bug but it wouldn't happen the same time every night. Maybe just a new pregnancy symptom. Oh the joy!

I have the same issue going on except mine goes on during the day. And I was planning to ask my doctor about it. I have had this going on for several days now to. So good luck I hope yours get's better!

Well, you should update me on what they say! I may ask my ob tomorrow as well when I go in for my appt. I hope it's nothing serious lol, which I am sure having the smurfs probably isn't to bad! And AWESOME   I feel like he might come early but if I am lucky he'll come on my due date  !

so I went in and she just said "typical second pregnancy symptoms"....it's stopped so far so I'm happy that I'm not in terrible pain anymore.

I have the same problem but mostly during the day once in awhile during the night id get like that sometimes it woke me outta my sleep cuz I thought I excuse my French I thought I smurf myself lolsz. this can't be a sign of labor is to come bcuz I'm only 9weeks nd 4days
