Awake all night

posted 15th Jan
DS is 10 months old and there have been a couple of days the past few months that he is just awake all night. lol. The only time he cries is when we try to put him to sleep (rocking or laying him down). It's so random... He doesn't seem to e in pain or uncomfortable. I think it's because he's over tired those days, but I just would figure he'd eventually get tired. lol.

Any of your LO's ever do this.

My son has been a terrible sleeper since he was born. He has nights like that. If he isn't crying or unhappy, I would just leave him in his crib to play. He'll tire himself out. Just go in when he starts to fuss or cry and rock him to sleep then. It's what we do with our son.

Lol. That's how it starts, but he screams in his crib on these nights. Normally we lay him down and he falls asleep. I just wish I knew what was going on.

Yeah both out daughters go through phases like that due to teething, growth spurt, distracted, learned new skill (crawling/walking), night terrors, and so forth. We just comfort them best we can.

Glad you all have had experiences but it just sucks. I am babysitting my little brothers (7 and 9) while my mom is on vacation so I have to keep him kind of quiet. lol. right. So we ended up putting a bed rail on the bed and dh slept on the floor. Of course I didn't sleep AT ALL having him in bed with me... I was way to scared and he moved in circles and is a crazy sleeper apparently. Lol.

lol We co-sleep so I am very use to movements in the night.   It's can suck sometimes but we do what you have to.

When my husband and I first moved in together all we had was a twin sized bed that my Dad made for me. That was way too tight! My husband had been sleeping on a borrowed air mattress before lol. We saved for months to finally get Queen sized.

Crazy! We were supposed to buy ourselves a king size bed for our first Christmas married and living together and all that, but by Christmas we were 26 weeks pregnant. lol. And now pregnant again for this past Christmas. It feels like we'll never get a new bed.
