Anyone else ttc their first over 30?

posted 15th Jan
Hey ladies!

Just wondering if there is anyone out there who is over 30 and currently ttc their first baby. I'm 31 and have been trying just for a couple months.

Also, anyone who had their first baby after 30, what was your experience like and did you feel like it possed any specific challenges for you?

Thanks!

I had my first at 32 and had the easiest pregnancy and delivery ever.

I'm 36 now and I'll be 37 by the time this one is born (I hope). So far, so good.

My first was born 2 months before I turned 28 and this one was just born and I'll be 32 next month. Anyway, it felt normal to me? "Advanced Maternal Age" isn't until 35 and over so you'll not get treated any different from the Dr.

My mom had my sister, who is 16 year younger than me, when she was 40 and tried for 7 years.

Wishing you lots of baby dust!

I am 36 and just had my DD. She isn't my first but I have to admit I felt so much better during this pregnancy and after her birth. The only thing that was different was the label of AMA. My husband is almost 50 and we have talked about another. Good luck tp you!
