How long have you been giving her the pedialyte? She would only need very small amounts of that to make sure she wasn't getting dehydrated. It's not a replacement for formula, kwim?

how long has she not been eating it? Fever? Any other symptoms? You should call her pediatrician.

She hasn't ate for a week so my mom said well i'll give her it when she won't eat and she has been burning up but it says she don't have a fever she has been fighting sleep and wants to be held all the time i'm a first time mom so i'm not sure what to do we keep debating on taking her to get checked out.

OH MY GOD. You've been giving her nothing but Pedialyte for a WEEK. That is so unhealthy it's ridiculous. You need to take her to the doctor, like five days ago.
Your thermometer could be wrong.

So are you saying that she has eaten nothing but pedialyte for a week? If your baby is not eating, it's nothing to debate about. That is one of the MAJOR reasons to take your baby to the doctor. If she really hasn't eaten anything for a week other than pedialyte you should take her to the ER. Your thermometer could be faulty.

even if she has eaten some formula over this time period you should still take her into the doctor, she isn't wanting to eat so there is some underlying issue.

Oh lord why did you not take her in? And a WEEK of nothing but the Pedialyt? NOT healthy. baby is getting full on the on the drink. call your pedi
all a baby needs is breastmilk or formula.
babies like to be held and often feel warmer to us with out having a fever.

I know, right? This is how babies end up in the ER, weak and dehydrated. She's been giving her 3 month old nothing but glorified Kool-Aid for an entire week, while the baby can't sleep and is burning up, and still hasn't bothered to seek medical attention. I try to not get too dramatic on posts on here, but this is NEGLECT in its purest form.

She has acid reflux, TOO?!? What the hell is wrong with you?? Why haven't you taken her to the doctor???

BTW- an ounce a day does not count as eating.
Did it even cross your mind that maybe the new formula or cereal or whatever is causing a bad reaction and she CAN'T eat? And acid reflux is EXTREMELY painful. Where is your head, mama????

I also have to add that Pedialyte can be pretty acidic and is probably making her reflux much worse. Get to the ER!!!

It's your baby and your responsibility to get her to doctor if she needs to go. And she spits it back in your face because she cannot help it!! Do you even really know what acid reflux is?? Stop defending yourself and worry about your child, damn.
